The Catawba Indian Nation is the only federally recognized Indian tribe in the state of South Carolina. The tribe's reservation is located in York County, a bedroom community for the booming Charlotte, NC area. The reservation is adjacent to the beautiful Catawba River. Information is available on this site about the tribe's history, administrative offices, and services. We are proud of their past, and we continue to make pottery, sing, dance, drum, and share our heritage and culture. We are also proud of our accomplishments and what we have to offer our tribal members and the community.
